Winter Wonderland

In the winter, the snowy drifts and sooty drifters are blowin' in the wind. How does it feel? Beneath the streets of Fiorillaville, the helpless homeless huddle in dank tunnels amid fetid odors. Oddly shaped creatures scurry in the darkness.

Here we see a frail family, the Marginals. Facing foreclosure of their subterranean tunnel, they are desperate and destitute as they set out to find a new abode.

Autumnal angst

Traveling toward the outskirts of Fiorillaville, one goes through a ghastly grid of undeveloped sections, twisting streets with partially constructed dwellings long abandoned. Rust never sleeps, and armies of cloned terrormites feast amid the ruins. Beyond the grid, the once beautiful fields of jimflora have been devastated by ravenous Rotbeetles, and it is here that celery stalks at midnight. Within the thornmaze, no bellybirds sing. Lurking in the shadows of the wistful wisteria is doleful Andy Autumn. If you see him from the corner of your peripheral vision, then you know summer in Fiorillaville is finally over at long last.

Fiorillaville, a suburb of Fiorilla City

The wind blows through the crumbling canyons in Fiorillaville. The chill drives the inhabitants inside where they huddle around pot-bellied stoves and tell tales about the glorious long-ago lives of their majestic ancestors. It was a time before the Great Madness that changed the world forever. Many never returned from The Abyss. Some survived but were horribly mutilated. Others were realigned and altered by the Distortionalia Virus.

Life in Fiorilla City

Yes, here I am again, the Old Bitch, with another regurgitation of Fiorilla. Here are strange snapshots from another realm, images found stored away in the rotating penthouse of the towering Fiorilla Building overlooking the neon night of Fiorilla City. Rat Fink prowls the concrete canyons, while the Eyedactyl soars overhead, circling, twisting slowly in the wind and keeping an eye peeled for the Fiorillazilla and any hallucinogenic alterations to the background landscape. Shawn McManus provided the iridescent coloring for the creatures above. Below is Rat Funk, Rat Fink's dad, colored by Jim McDermott. Visions of Fiorilla City by moh1t.

The Christmas Things

Hee, hee! It's me again, the Old Bitch. And now for some putrid poetry...

Slay bells ring, are ya listenin'?
In the zone, blood is glistenin',
A truly Dead Zone
Yes, it's Christopher
Walken in a Winter Wonderland.

Ready to hang some Christmas stalkings? Well, say hello to Santa Baby. Looking for the missile tow so we can prepare for that Nuclear Winter, due any year now. Heh, heh!.

Old Bitch art is a collaboration of Fiorilla and XNO.
